What started with our own family vacation rental has grown into a Central Texas property company, built from our first-hand experience as guests, owners and hosts.
IT STARTED WITH A TRIP TO TEXAS.
WE WERE GUESTS BEFORE WE WERE HOSTS, AND OWNERS BEFORE WE WERE MANAGERS.
Long before Pathfinder became a vacation rental company, we were a family that spent a lot of time travelling. Our son's sporting career took us from drafty skateparks back home in the UK to competitions around the world — and eventually brought us to Central Texas.
A property here became our home away from home, our winter training base and, while we were back in the UK, a vacation rental for other families to enjoy.
Hosting our own property taught us first-hand what makes a great stay, but it also showed us just how much has to happen behind the scenes to create one. Guest communication, pricing, cleaning, maintenance and all the little details that can make the difference between somewhere to sleep and somewhere guests genuinely want to return to.
That experience became Pathfinder Vacations.
Pathfinder has grown, but the principle behind it hasn't changed. We look at every property from both sides.
For our owners, that means strong performance, reliable operations and the confidence of knowing their property is properly cared for.
For our guests, it means something much simpler: a great place to stay where everything works as it should.
Because we believe the best hospitality happens when all the work behind the scenes goes unnoticed.

Pathfinder has grown
Since we started in 2023, Pathfinder has been through a few different chapters. What began with our own vacation rentals grew into managing properties for other owners, building better systems and taking on more of what happens behind the scenes.
And with every property we've managed, one thing has become increasingly clear: great property management doesn't stop at bookings, pricing and guest communication. The property itself needs just as much attention.
So, we're growing again.
