Payment card information is processed through third-party booking and payment providers, including OwnerRez and Stripe. Pathfinder Vacations does not ordinarily receive or store complete payment card numbers.

4. Sale of Personal Information
Pathfinder Vacations does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
We do not knowingly sell sensitive personal information, biometric information, or personal information belonging to children.
We do not currently use the Meta/Facebook Pixel or disclose personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
5. Cookies and Analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies provided by Squarespace and Google Analytics.
These technologies may be used to:

We may still send non-marketing communications relating to an enquiry, reservation, transaction, service request, safety issue, or ongoing business relationship.
Pathfinder Vacations does not currently conduct SMS marketing. Transactional text messages relating to a reservation may be sent through a service provider when requested or permitted by the guest.
8. Payments
Payments are processed through OwnerRez, Stripe, or another authorised payment provider.
Payment providers may collect:
Cardholder name
Billing address
Payment card details
Transaction amount
Device and fraud-prevention information
Pathfinder Vacations does not ordinarily store complete payment card details. Payment providers process information under their own privacy policies and security practices.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing services and satisfying legal, accounting, tax, insurance, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and contractual requirements.
Booking information may be retained through OwnerRez and other service providers according to their retention settings and policies.
The applicable retention period depends on factors including:
Whether you made a booking or only submitted an enquiry
The duration of our relationship with you
Contractual requirements
Tax, accounting, and insurance obligations
Applicable limitation periods
Whether information is needed to resolve a dispute or protect legal rights

Marketing subscription information is retained until you unsubscribe or we determine that it is no longer required. We may retain limited suppression-list information after an unsubscribe request to ensure that the request continues to be respected.

We also rely on established service providers, including Squarespace, OwnerRez, Stripe, Happy Guest, and Google, to maintain safeguards appropriate to the services they provide.

Pathfinder Vacations does not sell personal data for monetary consideration and does not currently process personal data for targeted advertising through the Meta/Facebook Pixel.

13. Children’s Privacy
Our website and services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 18.
Adults making reservations may provide information concerning children travelling in their party where reasonably necessary for occupancy, safety, or booking purposes.
If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us without appropriate authorisation, contact us at stay@pathfindervacations.co so that we can review and address the matter.

Our website may link to or integrate with services operated by third parties, including booking platforms, payment processors, guest portals, verification providers, social media platforms, and property-service providers.
We do not control the privacy practices of independent third parties. You should review their privacy policies before providing personal information.

Pathfinder Vacations is based in Texas, United States. If you access our website or services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, processed in, and stored in the United States and other countries in which our service providers operate.
Those countries may have data-protection laws different from those in your location.
