Driveway is wide, flat, and easy for multiple vehicles or trailers.
🔐 Safety & Security
Outdoor (non-monitored) cameras are positioned around the property and barn, pointed only at exterior/garden areas for privacy.
✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1500 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $45 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $3 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.
To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform called Happy Guest. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account - it’s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots.
Your guest portal includes advertisements with third-party upgrades that you may want to enhance your stay. These upgrades are optional.

Rates & Availability
Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 5 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 5 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued. Grace period with free cancellation for 24 hours after booking if arrival is at least 48 hours away at time of booking.
About the Owner
Our family’s life revolves around skateparks—drafty warehouses in winter, sun-baked concrete in summer—and traveling the world for WCMX competitions. With so much time on the road, we’ve stayed in more short-term rentals than we can count, often out of necessity due to allergies and dietary needs. Those experiences taught us how much the small details matter, and they’ve shaped the kind of spaces we now create for guests. What started as a personal project has grown into a true family business. We’ve now completed two years of hosting and co-hosting multiple properties, bringing together our love of travel, accessibility awareness, and the skate community. Our Hill Country retreat doubles as our winter training base, but when we’re not there, we genuinely love sharing it with families, groups, and fellow riders. With every stay and every review, we continue to learn and level up. Thanks to guest feedback, we’ve already made thoughtful upgrades—and we have even more improvements planned for the years ahead. The main family shower room (32inch door width) is perfectly located directly off the main living space and between the two Queen rooms it has a sumptuous step in shower, vanity unit and toilet. The second bathroom (36 inch door width) is in the Master Suite with glorious step in shower, twin vanity and toilet room. The shower chair fits fine in either shower however the door width on the family bathroom isn't as wide as the Master shower room however this is the bathroom that Tomas uses. |
